Welcome to delano teas!

My name is Delano Tamborini (but you can call me Del). I’m a Vancouver-based Certified Tea Sommelier, consultant, writer, and bon vivant with an irrepressible passion for the world’s greatest beverage: tea. I also teach the Tea Association of Canada’s Tea Sommelier program at Vancouver Community College. I believe tea should be a fun and joyous experience – always – and my mission is to share with you the happiness tea brings me in hopes that your journey of tea discovery will bring you a similarly profound joy.

Beyond that mission, delano teas is about two things:

The first is to inform, educate, and entertain my readers by writing about tea and tea-related topics in a concise, easy-to-understand, and interactive format free of pretension.

The second is to provide a showcase for my tea sommelier, tea menu design, and general tea consulting services.

Since you’re here at delano teas it’s likely you’re either someone who already knows quite a bit about tea, or you’re someone relatively new to the specialty tea world who is curious to learn what all the excitement is about. Either way, I know we’ll have a lot to discuss! I truly appreciate your readership and encourage you to participate in the comments section of each post.
